When Marta came to the Crisis Pregnancy Centers, she was seeking an abortion. As we counseled with her we learned this woman had already had nine previous pregnancies, including two stillborn births and two miscarriages. She no longer wanted anything to do with the baby’s father and was too embarrassed and ashamed to tell her family and friends she was pregnant again.
At the Crisis Pregnancy Centers, we listened… we loved… and we prayed. Then we shared with this young woman the life of Christ. We offered her the dignity of exploring real options and addressing the real issues of life - not just for her unborn baby but for herself.
She chose to have an ultrasound in our office. And as she saw her baby - just a little over eight weeks old - she cried. She asked us to help her know Christ. Then she asked us to help her gain the
resources and skills she needs to give life to this child and to her other children at home.
Although her cry for help was made in our office, her pleas were really directed at you. Here’s why…
