Julie Stoddard Testimony

Becky had an appointment to have an abortion that afternoon.  But she made an agreement with a fried to come to our Center first and talk things over with one of our counselors.  And talk she did.  She had many things going on in her life as so many of our clients do.  The Counselor slowly went though the questions on our intake form and listened patiently as Becky poured out her heart’s concerns.  As Becky spoke, she seemed to be slowly talking herself out of keep her afternoon appointment.  One question seemed to especially redirect her thinking “Is there anyone else that will help support you?”

She realized that she had many people in her life that would support her in raising a child even if the father of the baby did not stay involved.  During her ultrasound, Becky told the nurse how confident she now was that she could parent this child.  She exited out Center smiling and filled with excitement about having her baby.
