Message in a Minute
Sometimes, it’s the prayers God doesn’t answer we’re most grateful for…
A young lady I’ll call Maria recently prayed one of those prayers. She took the “morning after pill” and prayed she would not be pregnant. But the pill didn’t work and she was pregnant.
Stunned, Maria called the Crisis Pregnancy Centers, thinking she could schedule an abortion. Instead, she spoke with one of our counselors. She listened… she thought… and then she made her way to our clinic. Soon, she was looking at an ultrasound screen, amazed at her perfectly formed seven-week-old baby!
As she continued to speak with our trained counselor, Maria realized that God had heard and answered her real prayer. Not the prayer of panic, but the cry coming from the bottom of her heart for real help… real hope… real love.
Although God’s hand is unmistakable in Maria’s story, He uses people like me and you – and the ministry of the Crisis Pregnancy Centers – to make His answers known. Let me give you a few examples…
- It was a one of our trained volunteer counselors who picked up the phone when Maria called.
- The compassionate, non-judgmental environment of the Crisis Pregnancy Centers made Maria comfortable enough to have an ultrasound and continue speaking with our counselor.
- The ultrasound machine and photo picture were the instruments in God’s hands to break through Maria’s fear and show her the reality of life.
In the hands of God, these practical resources become tools of healing and help for women like Maria... but it takes the prayers and financial support of friends like you to make these resources available. Here is what I mean…
- When you give $40, you provide a mother-to-be with a case of diapers.
- Your gift of $65 pays for a case of sonography photo paper so a mother like Maria can actually see her unborn baby inside her.
- Your investment of $100 gives a case of formula to a new mother.
- When you give $150, you provide prenatal lab services at our Fountain of Life Prenatal Clinic.
In the time it just took you to read my letter, another woman like Maria has called the Crisis Pregnancy Centers. She is scared – and she is looking for immediate help. Your gift – right now – allows us to offer her real answers and real choices in the midst of her fear. Please use the link below to give a gift that overcomes panic with purpose; that quiets fear with faith.
Maria’s life – and that of her baby – was changed because someone like you provided the practical resources that brought help at a time of crisis. Please do the same right now for another young woman calling the Crisis Pregnancy Centers for help and hope!
God’s Blessings,

John Tabor
