Message in a Minute

Simply put, this father’s tearful message was one of gratitude. Because of the effectiveness of our ministry, I had been asked to share with pastors in Southeast Asia the sanctity of life message, a message that is at the very center of God’s own heart. In this region of the world abortion is considered commonplace and the sanctity of life message is critical. This father and other pastors were full of thanksgiving that we were willing to offer resources, training, and encouragement as they seek to share a message of life and love in their own cities and communities.

Honestly, I am the one who came away blessed! Hearing how God miraculously spared the life of this girl to use her as a voice of salvation gave me renewed vision for the lives we touch here in our own city.

More than ever, the words of the prophet, Jeremiah, echo in my head…

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you…” Jeremiah 1:5

God saw the purpose and plan he had for this little girl’s life and knew how many lives would hear the Good News because of her. I’ve thought of her often in the last few weeks as I’ve been back at our centers. As I see women facing the fear of an unplanned pregnancy, I want to show them a pastor who now ministers the love of Christ to hundreds because of a daughter he thought he didn’t want.

I see the women we serve, pregnant with new life, and wonder what God has in store for each of these unborn children. I wonder how many lives will hear the Gospel because the Crisis Pregnancy Centers was living it out when their lives hung in the balance.

More than anything, I find myself wishing you could see what I see. Like the loaves and the fishes, Christ takes the prayers, financial gifts, and volunteer efforts we give Him and multiplies our gifts to touch the lives of thousands. Often it’s a teenage girl who discovers she’s pregnant here in Tucson that we minister to. Sometimes it’s a Cambodian pastor who wants to share the message of life with his community.

Whether it’s our neighbor across the street or around the world, God is using the Crisis Pregnancy Centers in ways that are truly miraculous. Thank you for making these stories of life and purpose possible. It is because of you that the Crisis Pregnancy Centers is touching lives here at home and around the world!
