Message in a Minute

Over and over, we hear the sound of heartbreak at The Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Women facing the crisis of an unplanned pregnancy ask the haunting question… “What am I going to do… what am I going to do?” Honestly, every time I hear the innermost cries of a young woman’s heart, I find myself praying for God’s mercy. The sound of overwhelming grief and fear is a cry only Christ can comfort.

Yet, as I find myself praying for mercy, I also find myself praying that God will grant her the grace to hear something besides her fear. I ask God to give her His ears and the ability to hear the heart of her unborn child beating inside her. I pray that God will speak to the storm in her heart and command peace, enabling her to hear in her spirit the sound of her baby’s first cries, first giggles, and first words.

I pray also that God will open our own ears at The Crisis Pregnancy Centers. I pray for sensitive hearts and discerning spirits as we listen with the love of Christ to the lost and the hurting. And I pray for you… a friend of our ministry. I ask God to give you ears to hear His voice as He calls you to join us in becoming His hands extended to the hurting through the ministry of The Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

Through the ears and eyes of faith, we ultimately hear and see something that goes beyond heartbreak and enters the spiritual realm of hope. With faith, we see young women look beyond their fear and see with hope the future God holds for them and their unborn babies. With faith, we hear the cries of hurting women turned into voices of praise as God transforms hurt with His healing and hope.

Right now, I’m asking you to listen to the stories of God’s life and love contained in this newsletter. And I’m praying God will stir your faith as you are moved and inspired by the miracles taking place each day at The Crisis Pregnancy Centers.
